Magnolia custom cabinetry

Introduction

The Magnolia Neighborhood of Seattle, WA is one of the most desirable in the city. Known for its Victorian style architecture and friendly residents, it's no wonder that this neighborhood has become so popular among homeowners. If you're looking for custom cabinetry, Magnolia is where you want to be!

In the 1950s and '60s, many families moved into Magnolia as well as more apartments were built for students attending nearby Seattle University. The population continued to grow through the '70s when it was discovered that the quiet residential community had been built over an old creek bed which flooded during heavy rains turning the streets into rivers! Major road improvements were made to combat this problem but it didn't stop people from moving here because it was still very affordable compared to other neighborhoods in Seattle like Queen Anne or Capitol Hill which

It was established in 1907 and was named after the Magnolia tree. The neighborhood has over 8,000 residential homes and most of them live in single family homes. There are also a few apartments within the neighborhood.

The area is known for its beautiful scenery and views of Puget Sound, Elliott Bay and Mt. Rainier. There are also many shops, restaurants, fitness centers and boutiques located within walking distance.

The Magnolia neighborhood also has some very unique history behind it. In 1906, a man by the name of John Leary bought a piece of land that was once owned by Henry Yesler (a former mayor). He later built his home on top of it which is now known as “The Castle” or “Leary Castle”. This building is well known around Seattle because it has been used in several movies over the years including Sleepless in Seattle, Singles 2: Triple Feature and Son of Rambo!

Magnolia is an affluent neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. It is bordered by Interbay to the north, Queen Anne to the west, and Ballard to the south. Magnolia began as a settlement on Puget Sound in 1852 called "New York Alki" by David Swinson Maynard. The town of Maynard was platted before annexation by Seattle in 1891.

The neighborhood takes its name from the Magnolia tree, which was imported by settlers from the east coast of America. The tree is now common in many parts of the country but was rare in Seattle until after World War II.

The first community center was established on 34th Avenue West near Harrison Street in 1936 under pressure from residents who wanted to create a place where children could play safely and adults could socialize. In 1938, the city built a community center at 33rd Avenue West between Harrison Street and Republican Street (now 35th Avenue West). The building is still standing at this location but has been converted into apartments.

In 1954, Magnolia Community Center moved to its current location on 35th Avenue West between Republican Street (now 42nd Ave W) and Boyer Street (now 44th Ave W).
